The Porsche 964 was sold between 1989 and 1993. The 964 was the first generation of 911 Carrera to have a Tiptronic automatic transmission (as an option) as well as the first generation to be offered with all wheel drive. The first 964s available in 1989 had 4WD "Carrera 4", Porsche added the rear wheel drive Carrera 2 to the range in 1990. Both models were available as a coupe, Targa or Cabriolet. |
