JAGUAR XJ S |
|
The XJ-S was produced in September 1975 by Jaguar to replace the legendary Jaguar E-Type, and was based on the XJ saloon. The XJ-S was one of only three cars to have a V-12 at the time, the other two were by Lamborghini and Ferrari. The Group 44 racing team built a successful Trans Am race car based on the XJ-S, and the car won the series' 1977 manufacturers' championship cup. The last XJS was made on April 4, 1996, with the XK8 taking its place. |
