Beneath the romantic lines of the convertible Bentley Azure is the advanced technology of a 150mph Bentley with a 6.75-litre, V8 engine producing 400 bhp (299.6 kW/406PS) of power and 590 lb?ft (800Nm) of smoothly delivered torque. The Bentley Azure is a thoroughbred grand tourer, a full four-seater like the Continental R coupe, and with the same effortless, long-striding ability. The Azure is instantly convertible at the touch of a button and when the hood is stowed away it is deftly concealed completely out of sight beneath a flush-fitting panel, allowing the eye to follow the flowing sweep of the coachwork without any distraction. To enhance the spacious accommodation, Bentley designers carefully shaped the rear seats with a rounded waist rail, as if to embrace the passengers. |
