Overview:
The Aerie is situated in the southernmost portion of Vancouver Island which is roughly the size of Holland.
The island stretches along the western coast of British Columbia and is blessed with natural beauty, mild climate and friendly people. The Resort rests 1500 feet above the ocean with incredible views of Greater Victoria, The Saanich Inlet, San Juan Islands and Washington State. The Aerie is considered to be the gateway to the Cowichan Valley which is thought to be the next ?Provence.?
There is a lot of texture in our area and some truly amazing people; artisans, glass blowers, farmers, vintners, monks, Shepherds, cheese makers, grape growers, restaurateurs, chefs, writers, fishermen and falconers. We could list an entire page of eclectic individuals that have made this valley and this island home but that is up to you to discover.
